Multiple layers of identity have most recently brought me to London in my guise of Canadian sounding Welshwoman attempting to become a British diplomat. If that sounds like an uphill struggle, I can assure you that it is.
Biker, runner, and fearless outdoor swimmer (in my head). Now taking on the challenge of 100 events marking 100 years of RAF history, leading up to the centenary and MdS 2018. Fundraising for RAF benevolent fund. Link to justgiving page to follow! Watch this space!
If you run regularly and train for races, check out my running blog as well. I train and run marathons to become BQ for 2016. 🙂 https://chroniclesofthescorpionthatbitorion.wordpress.com/

See, now I am jealous. I would love to live on the West Coast! At the moment I need to up my long runs as I have moved from Colombia where I was able to stick to the trails, to London, where I am stuck with concrete. Do you usually run alone? Or with a group? I’m moving to a different area next month and hopeful that I will find a running group there. Watch this space!

Yes. That is an upside of living in the west coast although it’s not cheap to live here. My friends in the Midwest or east coast get jealous of it, yes. But our summer gets hot, so it’s not easy run races in summer. That’s when I escape to the mountains. 🙂 I mostly run alone. I’m not super fast but not slow either, so it’s hard to find a group of people who runs at my pace. But also it’s easy to schedule my training by myself anyway. 🙂 Hope you find a running group helpful for you!!! Keep motivating each other!!! 😀
